Author Quickstart platforms help the web savvy writer hit the ground running with a ready-to-go WordPress website. Designed specifically for writers, it’s the fastest way to get all set up with your website and platform tools.
I’ll take care of all the technical details, set-up and basic design, and you take it from there. (I’ll still be here to help when you need it!)

Basic Tech Set-up
If you like the idea of building a website and have experience with computers, but don’t like all the tedious set-up, this is your package. Includes: Domain registration, hosting set-up, WordPress installation, activation of a WordPress starter theme and core settings. Then you can roll up your sleeves and get going!
Barebones Writer’s Platform
This package takes you further down the road towards a complete author website. It includes everything from the Tech set up package plus 5 websites pages with placeholder text (lorum ipsum.) I will also set up a free Mailchimp account for your email list, Google analytics so you can track visitors, and social sharing options.
Deluxe Author Quickstart
You’ll get a live website ready to share with the world and launch your platform! All the set-up and a customizable multipurpose theme. Plus social media links, an email subscribe form, analytics tracking, and 2 more add-on features as needed. I will use your actual content to format 5 pages, your first blog post and a functioning contact form. I will create a simple placeholder banner and adjust basic design settings such as colors and fonts.
Optional Training
I build these websites using the WordPress platform and the theme Divi by Elegant Themes. If you are already familiar with WordPress, great! But if not I can create a customized walkthrough tutorial video of your website.

Third-party expenses such as domain registration, hosting fees or optional assets are not included. Credit card required.
Looking for a more custom solution? Custom website design projects incorporate additional design time and two review meetings and a recorded website walkthrough is included. Fees are estimated in a range starting at $1600.
